The two types are categorized basing on the compatibility of the devices that you do have. Here are the two basic types of the Rfid Reader for iPhone and iPad.
The first type is the 1D Barcode scanner reader. Its ultra-compact design makes it very easy to handle. It’s also lightweight making it convenient to use. They are of two types also. We have the ASX-510R and the ASR-010D. The ASX-510R also commonly known as the 500 series is compatible with only iPhone 5, iPhone 5s and the iPod touch. On the other side the ASR-010D also commonly known us the 600 series is compatible with the iPhone devices such as; iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone SE, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. It also works well with the series of the iPads.
The another type of the rfid Reader is the 2D Barcode reader. This more advanced rfid reader is compatible with almost all the latest series of the iPhone phone devices and the iPad devices. It also exists in two types; these are the ASX-520R and the ASR-020D. The two readers vary with the fact that they are compatible with the different series of the iPhone devices and the iPad devices.
